Cable Converter Boards (CCBs) provide an easy interface between standard 100 and 68-pin High Density cables, as used on many PXI- and PC-based instrument cards, and the outside world. All boards are wired pin-to pin, from the connector to jumper pins. Connecting a 64-ch DAQ (100-pin HD connector) to a wirewrap board is now easy. Disconnecting the DAQ is now easy too, since the CCB can be mounted to the wirewrap board. If you've ever wanted to make a couple of jumper connections to a cable, CCBs make it easy and reliable. There is plenty of room for many J-hook connections. All boards are wired pin-to-pin. All boards are available with male or female connector (please specify) Type: 100-pin HD Size: 2.875” x 3.875” $105 each Available with 2-row pin connector (shown) or Centronics-style connector. The Centronics-style connector will not connect to a 2-row pin cable, and vice-versa. Most DAQ cards and DIO cards use the 2-row pin style. Please check with the instrument manufacturer Type: 68-pin HD Size: 2.875” x 3.875” $80 each Available with 2-row pin connector (shown) or Centronics-style connector. The Centronics-style connector will not connect to a 2-row pin cable, and vice-versa. Most DAQ cards and DIO cards use the 2-row pin style. Please check with the instrument manufacturer Type: 34-pin IDC Size: 2.875” x 1.0” $40 each This fits the widely available standard 34-pin IDC ribbon cable Type: DB-9 Size: Twin 1.25” x 2.5” $40 each This is 2 of the single units that are still joined together Size: Single 1.25” x 1.25 $25 each Other styles under consideration: 40-pin IDC 50-pin IDC micro 50- and 68-pin SCSI II and SCSI-III Is there a style that you want, but don't see? Example: 68-pin CCB connected to a 16-ch DAQ. DAQ boards are neat things to have. They have many features, but connecting to them used to be a bit of a problem. The CCB makes connecting to individual lines easy. Pick the desired lines and use wire-wrap or a jumper to make a connection. The CCB can be mounted to a chassis and the DAQ cable can be connected and disconnected quickly and easily |
